It is not a regret so much as a time in my life I will always glance back at. While my mom was sick I was making a movie and editing my television show. I was flying back and forth to see my mother but of course wanted to stop everything and just hang with her. She didn't want that. My mom loved watching me do my thing more than anything else and to sit with her, ignoring my options, would have bummed her out. I had to go out and do what she raised me to do. Perform and gain something for myself in this life.nnI had plenty of memorable times with her but sometimes I wish I could have just sat with her and talked about anything and everything all day. She was so funny my mom. That and damn smart. I always went to her for advice and she was so good at making me feel calm and capable. All that I am on stage and in life is due to her guiding hands and soaring heart. Gosh I miss my mom right now but that is okay because missing someone can be powerful as it stirs up suppressed love!
